LGV Category CE

Product Description

This is the largest category of goods vehicle, usually being either an articulated lorry or a drawbar combination. This is the licence category needed if you want to drive a Category C goods vehicle towing any trailer over 750kg.

Product Specification

This Initial Qualification course is designed to help anyone who wants to achieve a Category CE LGV driving licence, giving you the necessary skills and knowledge to professionally drive lorries with trailers over 750kg.
During the five-day course, you'll study both theoretical and practical elements to help you prepare around the four core modules that you'll need to pass to gain the relevant licence. You'll complete preparation and tests, as well as practical driver training that will include instructions of defensive driving and reversing.

You'll also learn the required skills and techniques for safe loading and unloading (which you'll be tested on) and we'll give you a full introduction to Banksman techniques too.

Product Features

You'll need to already hold a full Category C UK licence to be eligible for this course. Having a provisional C and CE licence would be really beneficial too.
You'll be assessed on each of the four modules required to gain the full Category CE licence and Driver Qualification Card, based on the CPC requirements. This includes a theory test, case studies, driving ability and practical demonstration.
