360 Excavator and Minidiggers

Tracked or wheeled machines either above or below 10 tonnes. Lifting operations and attachment training.

This course will provide you with the basic skills, knowledge and information to safely operate a 360 Excavator or Mini Digger

Basic Training 5 to 10 Days/Refresher Training 1 to 2 Days
Relevant Legislation
Identify main components and explain their purpose
Use all controls and explain meaning of gauges
Carrying out pre start and running checks on machine
How to prepare and travel a machine over varying terrain
How to manoeuvre an excavator in a restricted area
How to set up a machine and carry out various excavations to a given tolerance
Load vehicles
Grade, Spread, level and backfill material to requirements
Remove and reattach bucket
Load and unload machine from trailer
Secure excavator to trailer
Place machine in and out of service condition
Theory Test
