Streetworks
Mainport Training’s courses are designed to enable companies to meet their requirements under the New Roads and Streetworks Act (NRSWA). Courses are delivered at purpose built training centres and comprise of units relating to the activities of operatives and supervisors involved in the excavation and reinstatement of the highway. Our courses have been adapted to accommodate the changes in the specification for the reinstatement of opening in the highway.
Operatives Units
Streetworks operatives are skilled individuals who carry out physical work on roads and footpaths, such as excavation, signing, guarding, and reinstatement.
Supervisor Units
Streetworks supervisor units under the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) (1991) are primarily focused on monitoring the work of others, not performing it themselves.
